A campus-wide treasure hunt and escape game!

Rogue scientist Professor Orange has stolen top secret documents from the University of York’s Chemistry Department that purport to contain a formula for turning any substance into gold. Secret Agent Green has infiltrated the Professor’s staff and has managed to obtain a copy of where they are hidden – but it’s in code. Race to solve the clues, find the documents and claim the reward. But beware there are other scientists hot on the same trail and they’ll stop at nothing to get to the documents first.

Meet Vanbrugh Stalls, Vanbrugh College Nucleus, 6pm

Come dressed appropriately for the outdoors (and maybe some running). Teams of 3-6 players, either come as a team or we can help you form one at the start.

This event is open to all postgraduate students at the University of York. If you have children we recommend this event is suitable for those above the age of 7.

Although running maybe involved we can accommodate guests with mobility or access requirements. Please email vp@yorkgsa.org

Someone in each team needs to have a charged phone.

Any persons or bags may be searched on entry to the event. You have the right to refuse a search, but you will then not be admitted to the event. Any person deemed to be acting in an antisocial manner risks being ejected from the event. Photography/video recording equipment will be used at this event.
