Salary: £8 per hour for 22.5 hours per week for 10 weeks (£1800 pa)

Purpose: Unlike undergraduate students, most postgraduate students will stay in York over the summer break either finishing off their masters dissertations or continuing with their PhDs. The GSA is committed to providing social activities for these students in order to continue to network and meet with other postgraduate students as well as providing welcome breaks in between busy work schedules. These events must cater to the wide ranging tastes of postgraduate students.

Hours of Work: 22.5 hours per week – to be agreed between the GSA and successful candidate based on activity requirements. Hours may be reduced to 20 per week for international students.

Place of Work: At any venue which is managed by The Graduate Students’ Association, which is registered to Vanbrugh College, The University of York, Heslington, York, YO10 5DD.

Duration of Post: 10 weeks
