Elections
What are GSA Elections?
An election is an event which takes place to determine a successful candidate who will take on a paid or voluntary role within the GSA after a vote across the student body or department. The part-time voluntary roles are typically elected during the first semester of the Academic Year, with the Full-time paid roles being elected during semester 2.
All GSA roles determined by election can be seen below:
- Sabbatical Officer
- Part-time Officer
- NUS Delegate
- Academic or Course Representative
Upcoming Election
Our next election will see successful candidates take on roles as Academic Reps and Part-time Officers. Both roles are voluntary and very low commitment, making them great for work experience which fits around busy University Life. This Election will open soon so take a look at the experience included within the roles or contact the GSA with any questions.
