Black History Month Design Competition

We’re your students’ union. We want to make sure that we look how you want us to look. For Black History Month we are launching a Design Competition for Black artists, redesigning the BAME Students’ Network logo.

We want to recognise the achievements of black creatives at the University of York while also letting you define your own space. For those who don’t know, the BAME Network is a Postgraduate social group specifically for BAME students, run by BAME students. You don’t have to be a member of the Network to enter, but you must identify as a BAME student.

Task

Design a new BAME Network logo to commemorate Black History Month. The winning artist will receive £100 in cash. The logo will be used by the GSA in its correspondence around the BAME Network.

Please submit your entries by the 15th of November.

Please submit your designs via email to Communications@yorkgsa.org
