Join us for a two day trip up north as we head to Hadrian’s Wall and Edinburgh where we’ll stay overnight.

Hadrian’s Wall once stretched 73 miles across the UK, built to guard the wild north-west frontier of the Roman Empire. Now it’s a UNESCO world heritage site and on this trip we’ll walk along 5km of the historic remains of the wall, towers and turrets in the rugged and picturesque landscape of the hilly countryside.

Edinburgh is one of the UK’s largest cities and has been the capital of Scotland since at least the 15th century. With a stunning skyline, buildings and cobbled streets set into the hillside, it’s a beautiful and vibrant city to visit.

Your tickets for this trip include coach travel to Hadrian’s Wall, Edinburgh and the return journey back to York as well as an overnight stay in Castle Rock self-catered accommodation in the city centre.

The coaches will leave from outside James College on Campus West at 8am on Saturday morning and head to Hadrian’s Wall and Edinburgh, aiming to arrive in Edinburgh at around 6pm. We’ll leave Edinburgh the following day (Sunday 20 February) at 5pm, arriving back in York later that evening.
