Alnwick Castle is a castle and a stately home in Alnwick in the English county of Northumberland.  It is the seat of the Duke of Northumberland, built following the Norman conquest, and renovated and remodelled a number of times.

Alnwick castle is the second largest inhabited castle in England (after Windsor Castle)

One of the most interesting and current facts about Alnwick Castle would be that it is used for numerous movies and tv shows.  One of the most famous uses of the castle would be it’s use as Hogwarts, the wizard school in Harry Potter.

Cost of ticket is £30 + a £2.03 booking fee.
