Burns Night is a special Scottish celebration that happens every year on January 25th to commemorate the Scottish poet, Robert Burns. A ceilidh is a high energy and easy to learn traditional Scottish dance… it is the perfect dance for a party! The band will provide us with some wonderful Scottish folk music to dance to, as well as instructions on HOW to dance, so please don’t worry if you don’t know what a ceilidh is. We’ll teach you! This event will be in James Hall at York University campus. There will be some small snacks and drinks provided before the ceilidh starts.
