Part-Time Officers
Part-Time Officers are democratically elected each year by you! They hold a vote on Council and make decisions about what the GSA campaigns on, the policy it creates, and hold Sabbatical Officers to account.

Responsibilities:
Part-Time Officers are encouraged to:
- Uphold the GSA’s values with respect to equality and diversity.
- Attend relevant training.
- Attend Council.
- Run campaigns, based on manifesto promises, with the help of Sabbatical Officers.
- Gather feedback from students they represent.
- Feedback to students about the work they are doing.
- Help to review relevant GSA policies.
- Contribute to the creation and debate of policy motions submitted to Council for approval.
- Engage with local and national campaigns and bodies that relate to their role.
Part-Time Officer roles:

Chair of Council
Responsibilities:
To work with the GSA President on matters relating to governance and democracy.
To Chair all meetings of the GSA Council, remaining neutral in policy debates.
To oversee the orderly conduct of Council.
To work with the elected officers to ensure that policy resolutions are actioned.

Participation Officer
Responsibilities:
To work with the VP Wellbeing and Community on issues that affect participation of postgraduatea at the University and GSA.

Sports Officer
Responsibilities:
To work with the VP Wellbeing and Community on matters related to postgraduate involvement with sport.
Where suitable, to support the running of GSA sports sessions.
To coordinate postgraduate sports teams.

Volunteering Officer
Responsibilities:
To work with the VP Wellbeing and Community on matters related to postgraduate involvement with volunteering.
To work with the university to ensure volunteering opportunities are available for postgraduates.
To work with the GSA to create volunteering opportunities for postgraduates.

Colleges Officer
Responsibilities:
To work with the VP Academic on issues experienced by postgraduates in colleges. To liaise with the Wentworth Graduate Common Room Committee (GCRC) and the Vanbrugh College Student Association (CSA) to ensure the needs of postgraduates are met. To be the bridge between the GSA and College committees.
