What is a campaign?

A campaign is an activity in which you lobby to create change.

Campaigning can take the form of:

  • Demonstrations/Protests
  • Letter Writing
  • Presenting a Report
  • Creating a Petition
  • Lobbying MPs
  • Mandate Sabbatical Officers or Creating Policy at the GSA
  • And more!

How to Campaign:

  • Identify the problem
  • Conduct research
  • Set objectives
  • Gather support, by creating a survey or utilising a vote to compile students’ opinions
  • Lobby MPs
  • Have a clear ask
  • Promotion/Social Media
  • Plan/Key Messages
  • Evaluation

Getting Funding:
