Zine Workshop with Jade Blood

Book online

27/04/2021

In this workshop, we will learn how to create our own zines. A zine is a self-published booklet with text and images (either appropriated or original) of small circulation. Participants can also consider how such mediums can help them process or even disseminate in a creative alternative manner part of their research. Of course, zine-making is fun, relaxing, and rooted in a DIY, generous exchange culture. So either way, it is promised that you will have a good time! This workshop will be led by Jade Blood, co-founder of York Zine Fest.

The workshop will be held online, and the participants will need the following material:

A piece of paper (A4 ideally)
Scissors
Glue
Old magazines of collage-able material
Tape/ pencils/ pens/mark-making tools/ whatever you’re in the mood for!

Sign up for your free space here.
