Family Activities – online

01/04/2020

Our weekly session will be a conversation and a catch-up to find out the needs of families during this difficult time. We want to stay in contact and organise regular activities for the little ones.

For this session, we will be engaging the kids in the conversation by making a rainbow craft that we encourage you to put in your windows. This is a nice craft of support and positive messaging for our communities.  These are some examples of how it can look like:

Cute Paper Rainbow Kid Craft

https://www.livewellplaytogether.com/rainbow-paper-craft-kids/ if they have different colours of paper they can do this one

For this session you will need to prepare:

Paper (or coloured paper when possible)
Scissors
Crayons
Glue

Parents, grab a cup of tea, meet other families in the same situation and talk to us about how you are feeling. In the meantime, we recommend Activity Village, it has hundreds of different activities for kids (puzzles, colouring, craft and painting ideas, worksheets etc). It’s also separated into lots of different themes i.e. Spring, animals, around the world, etc) https://www.activityvillage.co.uk/

This event is part of our campaign #KeepHomeandCarryOn to build a #QuarantineCommunity You can join all of our events through our hangouts video chat group: https://hangouts.google.com/group/Rm5xyYMoGZRXyuBz9
