Ceilidh: A night of folk music and dancing

Book online

11/02/2022

This is the best music and dance event of the year!

A Ceilidh (pronounced ‘kay-lee’) is a Scottish social event with folk music and dancing. There’ll be an amazing live band all evening including someone who will teach us the dances as we go (the ‘caller’), so there’s no need to worry if you have not been to a ceilidh before. Whether you do a couple of dances, stay on the dance floor all night long or just sit and enjoy the music, there’s no wrong way to do a ceilidh. There’s also no need to dress up but you’re welcome to do so if you like.

You really don’t want to miss this. Grab yourself a ticket and get your friends along too! The venue is in the centre of York, so it’s easy to find and ideal if you want to head into York with your new dancing friends afterwards.

Tickets are £6.50 – book yours here.
