University of York Student Family Network
The University recognises that York students are not a homogenous group and that there may be ‘groups’ of students who have particular needs and interests. As such the Student Family Network serves the purpose of providing student families/ student parents with an informal network of others in a similar position. The network runs a variety of events where students and their family members (including children, partners and spouses) can meet one another. The hope is that as the network develops it will also become a tool by which students can share information and tips regarding the university experience as a student with a family.

This term the the family network coffee afternoons will take place every Thursday in JJs at 13:00. The purpose of these meetings are to providing opportunity for students, their partners and spouses to meet other students and their families.
