The University of York Students’ Union (YUSU) exists to promote and 
defend the educational and welfare interests of its membership and future membership, within the University and as part of the wider community. The Union will constantly improve the services it offers to its membership and reflect the changing demands of its membership. It will do this within the democratic structures of the Union outlined in this Constitution. YUSU will aid in the development of its membership and aims to improve the quality of their University experience.
