Events Overview

One of the most important roles that the GSA plays is in facilitating social interactions between post-graduate students. Because of the workloads of MA, MPhil and PhD programmes, we recognise that feelings of isolation and loneliness are common. To this end the GSA organises a number of regular small social events, as well as three large late-night licenses per term for graduate students to meet each other and relax.

Although most of our events tend to take place in Edge, the bar in Wentworth Graduate College, we're currently in the process of looking at something to run regularly in the city centre - any ideas, please get in contact with us!

Some recent popular events have been Freshers Week, Beach Party, Pub Crawls, Jazz Nights, Quiz Nights, Karaoke and trips to Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds... to name but a few.
