Welfare Overview
The GSA provides a number of different academic and welfare
services for post-graduates, all of which are co-ordinated by the
welfare team, who can be contacted by email at welfare@yorkgsa.org, or
direct telephone on 01904 433714. Click on each of the above links to
learn more about the specific areas in which we work.
The welfare team consists of a member of staff and an elected graduate student representative. Some of the issues covered by the welfare team are: academic issues; relationships with supervisors; plagiarism/collusion, harassment; orientation/cultural issues; wellbeing; housing, financial and benefits advice; referrals to appropriate University staff/services.
