Academic And Representation Events
It's your chance to let the university know exactly what you think
Postgraduate ForumThe Deputy Vice Chancellor and GSA Postgraduate Forum is on Wednesday 10th March at 4pm in the Treehouse (in the Berrick Saul Building). Postgrads have the chance to voice their opinion to the university on teaching and learning provision, assessment and feedback, the application process, postgraduate accommodation, campus services (library, food, etc), careers and skill development, research provision, finance, PGWT Strategy, as well as feedback on the services provided by the GSA. Contact academic@yorkgsa.org for further information. Food and drink will be provided! |
GSA Association Council
The next meeting of GSA Association Council will take place on Wednesday 3rd March at 6pm in room LN002, Langwith College.
The Graduate Students Association Council is the governing and policy making body, where major decisions of the GSA are made. It is a chance to find out what the Officers are doing and how graduates are being represented to university bodies. Any graduate student is able to attend council meetings to witness the process and have their say. Unfortunately only members of Council are able to vote on items.
If you have any issues regarding a particular matter that you would like to see addressed in Council, you should contact an appropriate Officer or Representative. Visiting www.yorkgsa.org will help you identify who is most appropriate. If do not feel this suitable, you can contact the Chair of Council on chair@yorkgsa.org.
