Find a Housemate 2011
Come along to this year’s GSA Find A Housemate event. Thursday evening will be a relaxed ice-breaking session for everyone, with overnight accommodation available to book at a discounted price. We will provide food and entertainment for the evening.
From Friday at 10:30am onwards we will give you a guide to private sector housing in the local area, and give you the opportunity to meet approved landlords on campus. We will have a large selection of properties that are still available for let, with varying size and prices. At least one computer room will be booked so that you can view them immediately on the web as well as speaking to the landlords directly.
Discounted accommodation is available on campus for students needing to stay overnight to attend the Find a Housemate event.
We have made a number of rooms available in our Sheldon Court self-catering accommodation in Goodricke College. To obtain a discounted rate for these rooms, please type HOUSE11 in the special code section when making a reservation.* Reservations can be made here ‘Reservations can be made here.’ .
*Please note that the reservations service for Sheldon Court at Goodricke College will be available beginning Friday, June 24.
With limited University managed student accommodation available combined with natures of application for postgraduate courses, finding accommodation can sometimes be difficult. The GSA, with the University Accommodation office, have been working closely to hold a joint ‘find a housemate’ event which allows house and room hunters to come together with available houses from the University housing list.
