York Solutions Competition
‘Have you spotted a need or problem that you and a team of fellow students could solve? It might be something you could deal with through a business venture for a profit or it might be the start of a new charity or social initiative. Problems can be in York, the UK or anywhere else in the world. The scope is entirely up to you!
York Solutions aims to find three teams which will each receive a grant of £1000 to start implementing their plan. Your solution will need to be one that you and a team of up to 4 others can actually have some measurable impact on between now and 31st August 2012, when a bonus £500 will be awarded to the team judged to have implemented their solution in the most effective way.’
