Castle Howard is a stately home in North Yorkshire,15 miles north of York. It is a private residence, and has been the home of the Carlisle branch of the Howard family for more than 300 years.

The stately home has been used in many tv shows and films such as Victoria, Brisdeshead Revisited, Death Comes To Pemberly, Garfield, Twelfth Night to name but a few.

Pick up Heslington east kimberlow way bus stop at 9.30am & James college/YUSU at 9.45am arrive at Castle Howard at approximatley 10.30am. Visit the house and gardens and depart at 3.30pm.
