2017 Council Election Results

The election results for your new student council are in. We are pleased to announce an increase in voter turn-out on last years council elections.

We wanted to take a moment to thank all the candidates for running and everyone who voted in the elections.

The results are:

Council Chair – Abdikadir Dayib Askar

Receiving 63% of the votes in the second round

Events Officer – Annie Harrison

Receiving 56% of the votes in the second round

Equality Officer – Tianyao Fan

Receiving 82% of the votes in the first round

Sports Officer – Alessandro Cecchetti

Receiving 92% of the votes in the first round

Student Trustee – Liam Cutler

Receiving 86% of the votes in the first round
